For the third transfer window running, Barcelona fans were waiting to hear news about the official registrations of their players.

The activation of three economic levers in the form of the sale of Barça Studios and TV rights, though, helped them pen in four out of five of their new signings. Jules Kounde missed the first two games, unfortunately, but that is not the case anymore.

La Liga have officially accepted Kounde’s registration into the league as a Barcelona player, as is visible on the official website.

LaLiga’s Barcelona page.

Kounde was, reportedly, left frustrated by the club’s inability to keep their promise of registering him for the first two games. This was especially concerning since the Frenchman has a clause in his contract that would have allowed him to leave for free by August 31 if left unregistered.

That said, it seems Kounde’s registration could have happened weeks ago, but did not, for reasons still unknown to fans. That said, Gerard Romero did claim that an ‘unknown player’ altered his salary, which helped Barcelona.

Either way, Kounde is ‘officially officially’ a Culer now!
