Just in: Barcelona receive massive fitness boost ahead of Valencia clash

As has been the case so often this season, Barcelona were hit by an injury to Ronald Araujo during the Espanyol clash. The Uruguayan came off at half-time and was suspected to miss a couple of games. He was excluded from the squad list to face Napoli, and the same was expected for the weekend trip to Valencia.
Javi Miguel has come forth with an important update regarding the defender’s situation, stating that he will, in fact, be ready for the game. The journalist says that he has passed his medical examination and will make the cut for the squad list.
Without Araujo, Xavi was left with just Eric Garcia and Oscar Mingueza at his disposal at centre-back, none of whom have been entirely convincing this season.
That said, Valencia, especially at Mestalla, provides an intense test of mental and physical pressure. If Araujo is rushed in and included in the starting XI, it could result in unforeseen long-term impacts.
