Barcelona have had an eventful summer so far, bringing in five new players and re-signing Ousmane Dembele days after his contract expired.

However, they have encountered problems after that due to player registration issues, with Jules Kounde still not registered. With just over a week left for the transfer window close, the Catalans are striving to resolve their finances and register Kounde.

At the same time, their transfer plans for the summer are still not seemingly over. Indeed, according to Gerard Romero, Barcelona wish to sign two or three more players before the window closes while also planning to offload 4-5 players.

Exits are priority for the Blaugrana currently as it would take care of Kounde’s registration. Memphis Depay looks the likeliest to be out of the doors at Camp Nou next, with a move to Juventus on the horizon.

Apart from the Dutchman, out-of-favour players like Martin Braithwaite, Sergino Dest and Samuel Umtiti should also be on the move, with the latter already closing in a loan switch to Serie A minnows Lecce.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is another player who could leave Barcelona in the coming days, with a move to Chelsea being talked about for the veteran forward.

As for the incomings, Bernardo Silva continues to remain at the top of the Catalan giants’ wishlist, although Manchester City are reluctant to listen to any offers for the Portuguese international this late in the transfer window.

A new right-back and a left-back are also on the agenda at Camp Nou, with names like Javi Galan, Marcos Alonso, Juan Foyth, Hector Bellerin and Thomas Meunier all being looked at by sporting director Mateu Alemany and the club management.

It remains to be seen if Barcelona are able to complete the desired transfer business over the next week and then register whoever they sign in time.
