As Barcelona enter the final stretch of the season, the Catalan giants have turned up the ante at a timely moment

Indeed, Barcelona have been undefeated in their last 11 games and they intend to extend their form into the PSG clash, which promises to be a season-defining encounter.

While Barça have been dealing with various casualties within their ranks, the return of certain players appears to be in sight.

Andreas Christensen is expected to be back in time after suffering discomfort in his Achilles, while Frenkie de Jong also has a strong chance of participating in the first leg against the Parisians.

There’s more uncertainty around Pedri, as the club wants to take maximum caution with him, but having resumed training on the grass, his return for the second leg cannot be ruled out.

Nose to grindstone

Now, Mundo Deportivo has reported that Christensen, Araujo, Frenkie, and Pedri came to train today at the club facilities despite having a day off.

The players’ involvement showcases their commitment to being fully fit for this crucial saga of the season.

Both Christensen and Araujo were absent from the recent encounter against Las Palmas, which indicates their desire to shake off the rust.

Meanwhile, Pedri and De Jong are eager to make their long-awaited comebacks, too, with the aim being that they resume team training sometime this week.

Barcelona will benefit majorly in La Liga

The ultimate goal remains to be fit and available against PSG, but the services of the aforementioned players in La Liga will be equally useful.

The Catalan giants have the chance to lessen the distance with Real Madrid if their opponents slip up and Barça manages to win the Clasico.

Barcelona will lock horns against Real Madrid on the 21st of April. And by then, the Blaugranes will be hoping to have their A-team available, which certainly includes Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Araujo and Christensen.
