With just five days left for the summer transfer window to slam shut, Barcelona are still working on making some tweaks to their roster.

The arrival of Joao Cancelo appears to be the top priority at this moment, but beyond that the club are also looking to add another player, as was confirmed by president Joan Laporta in a recent interview.

For that to happen though there need to some exits in the coming days, and Ferran Martinez of Mundo Deportivo is reporting that there are four players on the current roster whose continuity at the club is not guaranteed.

Clement Lenglet

The most obvious name on the list is that of Clement Lenglet. The Frenchman does not feature in Xavi’s plans at Barcelona and the club have been making efforts to offload him for a while now.

After talks with Tottenham and Saudi Arabia collapsed due to various reasons, a move to Sevilla appears likely for Lenglet. Both clubs are making progress in negotiations, although the distribution of his €8 million (net) wages could be a sticking point in talks.

Eric Garcia

Another defender on the list, Eric Garcia has fallen down the pecking order at Barça and has been attracting interest from clubs such as Arsenal and Girona this summer.

But, manager Xavi wants the Spaniard to stay at the club especially considering Ronald Araujo’s injury, Andreas Christensen’s fitness issues of late, and Inigo Martinez’s continued recovery. The final decision will be up to the player.

Marcos Alonso

Alonso’s future has been called into question in recent weeks as he was left unregistered for an extended period. But, after being registered last week, the veteran left-back made his first appearance of the new season against Villarreal and endured a disappointing outing.

Manchester United have emerged as shock contenders for Alonso’s signing, with talks said to be ongoing for the Spaniard. And if Joao Cancelo’s arrival is made official, it could pave the way for Alonso to leave Barcelona this summer.

Ez Abde

Just when it appeared that the Ez Abde folder was closed and he was all set to stay put in Barcelona, the doors for his exit have once again been opened. The 21-year-old is understood to have been disappointed after not being used by Xavi against Villarreal and could consider an exit.

Abde has several interesting options with clubs like Bayer Leverkusen, Crystal Palace, and Real Betis interested. But Barcelona want €30 million for the winger, something that none of the clubs have matched so far.
