The transfer window deadline is coming close, and Barcelona is at the edge of closing unfinished deals. One of them is Ousmane Dembélé‘s case, who is close to being a new Manchester United player. In the middle of the deadline day, Dembélé showed up for training with Barcelona at an early hour but left the facilities before the training session began.
Let’s remember that Barça still wants to close the signing of Memphis Depay, who has already agreed on personal terms with the Catalan club. However, the Blaugrana’s cannot make an official offer until Ousmane is sold.
So far, the Red Devils and the Azulgranas continue to negotiate for Dembélé. Manchester United wants a loan-deal, but Barcelona would only accept a permanent signing. In addition, the fact that Dembélé left training may be due to a meeting with his agent and with the directors of both clubs.
We will have to wait and see how the transfer saga ends, but it is clear that a lot of telephone traffic is currently ongoing between the players, agents, and clubs.
