Barcelona added another name to their roster this week by announcing the deal of Roony Bardghji.

Bardghji joined the club on the back of a high reputation, with many considering him one of the most talented young players in Europe.

Bardghji will be a part of Barcelona’s pre-season campaign under Hansi Flick, where the German coach will assess his game and take a call on whether or not he will remain with the first team.

Barcelona are already aware of the talent Bardghji possesses. However, it appears football runs in the genes of the Bardghji family, as the club are also keen on signing his brother.

Barcelona keen on signing Rayan Bardghji

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are currently working on a deal to sign Rayan Bardghji, the younger brother of Roony Bardghji.

Rayan, who is just 15 years old, is currently on the books of FC Copenhagen, like his older brother was.

However, with his contract set to expire soon, he is expected to become a free agent ahead of his 16th birthday in November.

Several top clubs across Europe are already keeping close tabs on the youngster, who is viewed as one of the most promising teenagers in Scandinavia.

Barcelona, for their part, have added him to their list and are exploring the possibility of snapping him up on a free transfer.

Copenhagen, though, are unlikely to give up without putting up a strong fight, having already lost their crown jewel in the form of Roony Bardghji.

Nevertheless, Rayan could be a solid addition to the Barcelona youth academy, which is already brimming with young talents looking to make a mark in professional football.
