It has been a disappointing start to life at FC Barcelona for Vitor Roque as he has struggled to get any meaningful minutes under Xavi Hernandez upon his arrival in the winter.

The 19-year-old centre-forward was constantly overlooked by the former manager who left the club this week prompting concerns about the youngster’s future at the club.

In fact, Roque’s agent had even issued a warning stating that they could seek a permanent exit in case things did not change.

But with Hansi Flick now taking over as the new manager, there is an expectation that Roque’s situation will take a turn for the better.

Irrespective of the situation, Vitor Roque has no shortage of suitors heading into the summer transfer window.

Indeed, SPORT reports that the 19-year-old has received approaches from three European clubs who are keeping an eye on his situation at Barcelona.

In the coming weeks, the sporting management must reach a consensus with Hansi Flick on what will happen with the Brazilian striker, a gamble by the club who arrived early in January with a view to adapting for the 2024/25 season.

Furthermore, the player’s agents have already told Deco that they have no intention of tightening the noose regardless of the decision that Barça end up taking.

The teenager’s entourage will abide by what the club decides and will do everything in their power to facilitate its execution.

The team advising ‘Tigrinho’ continues to believe that the best scenario of all is the player’s continuity in the first team, now under Flick’s management.

However, if he does not fit into the Blaugrana’s plans for next season, they only consider one solution: a sale so that Barça can recoup the investment.

Roque’s camp does not believe in a loan with a return date, because, from their point of view, this formula weakens the player and his projection both in the short and medium term.
