Barcelona have always had an eye on young footballers emerging on the scenes in Brazil. Over the years, they have brought in players like Neymar Jr, and Arthur Melo, among several others.

While all of them have not been major success stories, the Catalans continue to scour the Brazilian market for the next big thing. Of late, two prospects, in particular, have been linked heavily with a move to Barça in the form of Endrick of Palmeiras and Athletico Paranaense’s Vitor Roque.

And according to journalist Jorge Nicola, Barcelona are ready to make a huge offer for one of Endrick or Vitor Roque in the upcoming January transfer window.

Endrick has been the talk of the town across the footballing community after his breakthrough performances at the Copinha tournament earlier this year, following which a host of top clubs took an interest in the 16-year-old.

But, Barcelona are already believed to have taken the first step towards landing the prodigious teenage forward by holding a meeting with his entourage to assess the possibility of a move and explain their plans for the Brazilian youngster.

Considering that he is still 16, Barcelona would have to wait for two more years to bring him to the club. But reports state that they want to agree a deal with Palmeiras so that they avoid the risk of missing out on him, especially with rivals Real Madrid also lurking.

Vitor Roque is another Brazilian talent that has been on the Catalan giants’ radar of late. The 17-year-old Athletico Paranaense striker has made a big impression with his performances in the Copa Libertadores tournament, helping his team qualify for the finals.

Like with Endrick, Real Madrid are also interested in Vitor Roque. But as things stand, Barcelona might be ready to pip them to the signing of one of the two Brazilian teenage sensations by launching an offer in the January window.
