Barcelona, Dortmund, Sevilla competing for the signing of 24-year-old right-back

Despite being 38 years old, Dani Alves has established himself as a regular starter as a right-back under Xavi. The options on the bench do not appease the new manager, for each brings with them a unique set of challenges.
Sergino Dest possesses a spark when in the final third, but fails to integrate cohesively into the team’s buildup. Oscar Mingueza, though astute tactically and with his passing, struggles offensively.
Noussair Mazraoui of Ajax has been reported to be a serious target for Barcelona in the summer transfer window. The right-back is on the final six months of his contract at Ajax and will be a free agent come June. Moreover, the player has openly talked about moving on.
According to reports from Patrick Berger via SPORT 1, Borussia Dortmund are very interested in signing the 24-year-old in the summer. They have held concrete talks with the player and his agent Mino Raiola.
From Spain, Sevilla and Barcelona are said to be eyeing his signature. The race is still open, but rapid progress is expected in the coming weeks.
The Moroccan international has scored five goals and provided two assists in 18 Eredivisie appearances this season. He averages 1.5 key passes per game and has created four big chances. Most importantly, his attacking numbers are backed by solid defensive performances, including an average of 6.5 fuels won per game.
Fabrizio Romano has said that several Italian clubs are keeping tabs on Mazraoui, though Dortmund and Barcelona are the two big fish.
