Barcelona enter the month of December, and face eight huge fixtures that could define our season. Having already slipped far behind in La Liga, Barça’s six league fixtures this month give us a wonderful chance to make up ground on the teams at the top, and begin to challenge for the title again. Barça will also want to make sure that a top spot is secured in the Champions League. Check out my full preview of what’s to come in December, below.

Barcelona will know the vital importance of the upcoming month, and will certainly have their eye on getting back to the top of La Liga, but face Cádiz, Levante, Real Sociedad, Valencia, Valladolid and Eibar along the way; although the Catalans will be confident that with a big push and some good results, they could be far closer to the top of the table come January than seems possible right now.

My passion has always been football. Not just playing football, but also watching, analysing and talking about it. Football is my life. It’s what I wake up thinking about and go to bed worrying about. Although I love playing football, it is watching, analysing and sharing my thoughts on the game that inspires me. I began sharing my opinions on my YouTube channel from a very young age, and I am now delighted to be part of this fantastic team at Barça Universal. Barça is a huge part of my life and will always be. Força Barça!

Check out my full match review below:

Koeman also handed out a first league start to youngster Ilaix Moriba, who despite his error leading up to Rioja’s goal for Alavés, did impress on the night. But standout performers were certainly Lionel Messi and Francisco Trincão. The former showcasing his eternal genius once more, with the latter slowly building confidence and turning into an effective goal scoring winger for Barcelona.
