Barcelona could cash in on impressive loanee amid interest from England and Germany

Barcelona’s decision to sign Abde Ezzalzouli from Hercules is starting to bear fruits as the young forward has become a sensation at CA Osasuna this season.
Abde joined Osasuna on a season-long loan deal in the summer after Barcelona opted to bring in more experienced forwards such as Raphinha while renewing the contract of Ousmane Dembele.
The youngster has not disappointed either, establishing himself as the undisputed starter for the Pamplona outfit. Although his tally of two assists in eight matches might not seem as impressive, he has been an asset for the club in the attacking department.
The Moroccan’s performances have not gone unnoticed either, with several European clubs keeping close tabs on the player. Clubs from Germany and England, in particular, are entertaining the possibility of signing the player in the near future, reports Diario SPORT.
Barcelona are aware of the interest around Ez Abde. They are not ruling out the possibility of a summer sale either, provided they receive a good enough offer for the explosive winger.
Barcelona are ready to play the waiting game, for the time being, knowing Abde’s performances can only improve at Osasuna. The player may also perform in the upcoming World Cup, where he will be representing Morocco.
Making an impression in the World Cup could increase Abde’s stock tenfold, which in turn, could help Barcelona conjure up a significant profit on the €2 million they spent on the player.
However, it will not come as a surprise to see Barça scouting Abde’s performances at Osasuna and considering the possibility of making him an option in the first-team next season, especially given the fact that Dembele is facing an uncertain future at the club.
But a sale appears to be more likely, as the Catalans may have a golden opportunity to make a quick profit and use the sum to buy players that are more catered to Xavi’s tactical philosophy.
