Barcelona, Atletico, Juventus interested in €50 million-rated La Liga midfielder

Contradicting reports continue to emerge on Barcelona’s interest in Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler heading into the summer window.
Last month, there were claims that the Blaugrana had already agreed on a deal to sign the Spanish international, although Los Che were quick to deny those rumours.
However, since then, Valencia have offered Barça a chance to sign Soler as they look to cash in on him with his contract expiring in 2023. But the Catalan giants turned down the opportunity.
Since then, links to Soler have been on and off, with SPORT now reporting that Barcelona still hold an interest in the 25-year-old midfielder.
However, signing him might have gotten a tad bit difficult for Barça as Atletico Madrid and Juventus have also entered the race to land the Valencia captain. The report even goes on to claim that Atleti have taken a step in their pursuit of Soler and made an opening offer for his services.
Soler, valued at €50 million, is a regular in the side for Valencia and Spain. The 25-year-old can be an asset to any side he joins in the summer.
However, Atletico Madrid might have the edge over Barcelona as well as Juventus in the race to sign him. It is because Los Rojiblancos are in a much better financial health than the Catalans and have tabled a lucrative offer for him.
Juventus, meanwhile, are only interested in signing him on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, which might not be favourable for the player or Valencia, who are in desperate need of funds.
As for Barcelona, Soler had been identified as one of the candidates to replace the exit-linked Frenkie de Jong. But with the club still in a position where signing and registering new players remains a challenge, how they go about their transfer business remains to be seen.
