As Barcelona youngster Ez Abde continues to make an impression in his loan spell at CA Osasuna, his list of admirers is growing, reports Roger Torello of Mundo Deportivo.
Indeed, as per the report, the 21-year-old Moroccan international is attracting interest from a number of clubs from the Premier League in England.
Abde left Barcelona last summer to join Osasuna on loan in order to play regularly and gain valuable first-team experience. That is exactly what he has done so far in Pamplona, notching up five goals and two assists from 26 matches in all competitions.
The winger has made valuable contributions to help Jagoba Arrasate’s side reach the finals of the Copa del Rey and stay in eighth place in La Liga.
Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has been an admirer of Abde and has been impressed by what he has seen from the youngster at Osasuna so far.
So, there is a very good chance that the 43-year-old tactician could decide to keep him around at the club next season as part of his plans.
However, at the same time, Abde’s future would also depend on other factors such as the shape of the squad as well as the kind of offers that arrive for him amid growing interest in the Premier League.
Considering Barcelona’s Financial Fair Play situation, if a significant offer arrives, it might not come as a surprise to see them cash in on Abde.
So far, there has been no discussion between Barcelona and Abde’s entourage with regard to his future and the player’s camp is calm about the situation.
As for the 2022 World Cup semi-finalist, he is focused on ending the season strongly at Osasuna, possibly even leading them to the Copa del Rey triumph against Real Madrid in the finals.
