Barcelona youngster Cristobal Munoz ranks among the top pool of talent in La Masia‘s conveyor belt that has produced stars such as Gavi, Alejandro Balde, and Lamine Yamal in recent years.

Currently a part of the Barça U19 squad, Munoz has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence in recent years – making him one of the most sought-after players in La Masia.

A positive week for Munoz

As mentioned earlier, Munoz has enjoyed an excellent spell in Barcelona’s youth levels so far and remains one of the club’s top talents in his department.

But this week, in particular, has been a positive one for the young attacking midfielder. Munoz made his debut last weekend for Barça Atletic, featuring in a 2-1 win over Majadahonda.

On Tuesday, the Spaniard led Barça’s youth team to a fourth consecutive victory in the UEFA Youth League. He had a key role to play in the 3-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in Hamburg.

Overall, Munoz has made a solid impression with his performances, especially in the UEFA Youth League, which is why he was rewarded with a maiden call-up to the reserve squad.

Munoz’s next objective: Barcelona senior team

Cristo Munoz’s Barça Atletic debut was a key milestone in his nascent career. But as per SPORT, the youngster has already set the next target.

Munoz wants to follow in the footsteps of Gavi and Fermin Lopez and play for the Barcelona senior side in the near future.

Given his explosive performances at the youth stage, Munoz can certainly become a crucial player for the Barça Atletic squad during the second half of the season.

But as far as earning a place in the senior side is concerned, the teenage whizkid must act with patience and wait for his opportunity.
